What's a
Life Skill
Class?

Life Skills classes are offered to Special Populations students who have goals they want to work towards. We use technology to work towards goals such as building self-esteem and confidence, improving social skills, and working to build specific adaptive skills. Each student's goals are unique and are explored individually or in small groups of students with similar goals.

Class sizes​​

  • 1:1 sessions

  • Small group Sessions (typically 2-4 students)

Life Skills services are available to participants enrolled in the Individual and Family Services waiver, Basic Plus waiver, Children’s Intensive In-Home Behavioral Supports waiver, Core waiver, the Roads to Community Living grant, and/or the Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR).

 

Families should reach out to their case manager if they are unsure if they qualify to receive services. Services require preapproval, please fill out the following form to get the process started!
